The Heaven is Dodola Island

Dumped like heaven to earth. The island was named Dodola heavenly. Located on the island of Morotai, North Maluku, Dodola Island consists of two islands. Pulau Besar and Pulau Dodola Dodola Small.

Kala low tide, connects the two islands by white sand stretching. A pattern seemed magical, distant streaks along the sand connector. Strokes that arise due to the wind and waves. From the Great Dodola it took about five minutes walk to reach the Dodola Small.

In addition to connecting the two islands of sand, sea water receded revealing the reefs full of seaweed. Conversely, at high tide, Dodola was divorced into two islands, separated by sea water like a strait.

Dodola Island fits into snorkeling and diving locations. But as a place to simply look chic beach sunbathing was so compelling. Be sure to swim because the water is so blue it is tempting myself to plunge into the warm sea water.

How women who primp, earth Dodola dress with white powder. Yes, white sand on Dodola very soft, almost similar to the powder or flour. Dodola is a beautiful virgin. Nan uninhabited island deserted. Only the occasional fisherman who stopped off fatigue.

I had met two fishermen who were fishing at sea. They took a break on the island of Dodola. Typical or traditional motorized boat parked on the beach Moluccas. If you want to come to the beautiful island, you can ride Ketingting.

"Fifty thousand each way," so said one fisherman. You can also hire a speedboat to reach the island Dodola. However, motorized ride while experiencing a rush of course give the impression they fished deeper.

In Small Dodola absolutely no human touch. Unlike the Big Island Dodola which has a kind of wooden pier and building villas. However, the villa is left untreated and neglected. The district government is planning to develop the island as a tourist attraction complete with lodging right on the beach.

District Morotai cluster itself consists of more than thirty islands. Most are small islands are uninhabited. Morotai renowned as a historic site that played a major role in World War II. Japanese and allied forces had fought on the island. Hence, both camps have headquartered.

Until now, the remaining historic relics can still be seen clearly on the seabed. Therefore, activities like diving on Morotai combines nautical tourism with the tourism history. Word, the original diver Morotai, said, there are 13 points of existing marine heritage.

"The five locations the existing documentation. The rest are still in the form of folklore, so it has not been proven," said Firman. The sites in Wawama, Totodaku, Mira, Buhobuho, and sea between Dodola with Kelerai.

"In Wawama and Totodaku, no allied aircraft and jeeps. If in Mira no shipwreck. In Buhohubo and near Dodola no fighter," he said. Word is determined to continue to dive for sea uncovers Morotai which holds the remains of World War II.
